Soccer Game Preview: Princeton vs. Plano

The Princeton Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Plano Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Princeton fell victim to Rock Hill and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Blue Hawks by a score of 1-0. Princeton haven't had much luck with Rock Hill recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Plano was not quite Allen's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1.

Plano now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Princeton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Princeton suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Plano in their previous meeting back in February of 2025. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
