Langham Creek put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's sixth consecutive shutout on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Cypress Lakes Spartans a 15-0 shutout. Considering the Lobos have won 11 games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Karli Challburg made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Kassidy Martinez and Mia Martinez did most of the damage at the plate: Kassidy scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4, while Mia went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four runs gave Kassidy a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Izabella Amato-Ramirez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Langham Creek kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in eight consecutive contests.

Langham Creek's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Cypress Lakes, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Langham Creek didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-1 win against Cypress Ranch on the 25th. As for Cypress Lakes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 18-3 victory against Cypress Springs on the 25th.
