After flying high against Christchurch School last Saturday, Hampton Roads Academy came back down to earth. Hampton Roads Academy fell just short of the Peninsula Catholic Knights by a score of 6-5 on Monday. The Navigators' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Tyler Motley and Drew Lee did some serious damage despite the final result: Motley scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Lee scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. George Kokolis also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 4-4. As for Peninsula Catholic, their record is now 3-5.

Looking ahead, Hampton Roads Academy will challenge Walsingham Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Peninsula Catholic, they will take on Isle of Wight Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
