Strath Haven never let their opponents score on Thursday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 35-0 win over the Penncrest Lions. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 40th, while the Lions are ranked 190th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Strath Haven to victory, but perhaps none more so than Landon Barlow, who rushed for 87 yards and three TDs on only 11 carries. Ryan Mudrick helped out on the ground, rushing for 84 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Strath Haven has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 39.5 points this season. As for Penncrest, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
