Volleyball Recap: Durham Flight Homeschool Falls to Greensboro in First Game of Season

Durham Flight HomeSchool kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Greensboro Panthers, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

While Durham Flight HomeSchool was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Greensboro's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19, 25-20.

The win made it two in a row for Greensboro and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Durham Flight HomeSchool will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Southeastern HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Flight's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Greensboro, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 25th.
