Guthrie entered their tilt with Crowell on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Crowell Wildcats 56-37. For the Jaguars, this counts as revenge for the 31-28 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2023.

Guthrie's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Crowell, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Guthrie Jaguars take on the Wellman-Union Wildcats at 10:20 a.m. on Thursday. As for Crowell, they will head out on the road to take on Northside at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Crowell is facing Northside at the right time seeing as Northside is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
