Baseball Recap: First Baptist Christian Academy Takes a Loss

First Baptist Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 19-3 to the Zephyrhills Christian Academy Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Crusaders have suffered since April 19, 2024.

First Baptist Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Hahn, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That hit was Hahn's first of the season. Carter Ascone was another, scoring a run while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

First Baptist Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Zephyrhills Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 6-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

First Baptist Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 win against Halifax Academy on the 31st. As for Zephyrhills Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 14-4 loss against Foundation Christian Academy on the 31st.
