Baseball Recap: Tulare Union Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fresno Christian on Saturday, Tulare Union came back down to earth. Tulare Union fell just short of the Exeter Monarchs by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. The Tribe haven't had much luck with the Monarchs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Tulare Union saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaden Bermudez, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Tulare Union's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Exeter, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tulare Union will face off against Porterville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Tulare Union is facing Porterville at the right time seeing as Porterville is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Exeter, they will challenge Arvin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Exeter's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Arvin has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
