McNary has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.43 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They lost 13-3 to the West Salem Titans. The Celtics' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

McNary's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for West Salem, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, McNary and West Salem will both be playing South Salem the next time they take the field. The Titans will head out to face the Saxons at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Celtics will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
