Basketball Recap: West Adams Takes a Loss

West Adams was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 72-60 to the Jefferson Democrats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Democrats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 38-35 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why West Adams lost, don't look at LAVONT JONES. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 22 points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was ASH ISIAM, who posted 11 points.

Even though they lost, West Adams was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

West Adams' loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.

West Adams wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 63-44 defeat against Dr. Maya Angelou Community on the 7th. As for Jefferson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-31 loss against Los Angeles on the 6th.
