Volleyball Recap: Independence Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Independence took on Belmont on Saturday. The Wildcats came up short against the Cardinals, falling 3-0. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Independence's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Belmont, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-14 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Belmont beat Independence by a score of 3-0 later that day.
