Football Game Preview: Benedictine Cadets vs. Perry Panthers + Official Tickets

Two dominant backs in Stanley Smart Jr. and Decorrion Daniels are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Benedictine Cadets will take on the Perry Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Benedictine will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Benedictine is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Wayne County to the tune of 75-7 on Friday. Given the Cadets' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 214th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 7-7 at halftime, Perry was not quite Ware County's equal in the second half on Friday. They took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gators.

Perry's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-4. As for Benedictine, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Benedictine came up short against Perry when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 31-27. Can the Cadets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
