Heritage Christian won the last time they faced Illinois Lutheran and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Defenders took their game with ease, bagging a 68-25 victory over the Chargers.

Heritage Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Andrew Regnerus out in front who shot 70% from the field en route to 35 points and eight boards. Regnerus has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Hunter Regnerus, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 boards.

The victory got Heritage Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Illinois Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Heritage Christian will square off against Victory Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 4. As for Illinois Lutheran, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Tri-Point at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
