A big part of Kelloggsville's win came down to the chemistry between Gaston Musungwa and his top target Cameron Dunbar. Musungwa rushed for 85 yards and one score while Dunbar rushed for 43 yards and one touchdown. Those 43 rushing yards gave Dunbar a new career-high.

Godwin Heights' victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Kelloggsville, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
