Recap: Capital HomeSchool vs. Kokomo HomeSchool Eagles
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Capital HomeSchool ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They had just enough and edged Kokomo HomeSchool out 52-50. This was payback for Capital HomeSchool, who suffered a 55-41 loss the last time these two teams met.
Kokomo HomeSchool's loss came despite strong showings from David Hart and Jude Hogsett. Hart scored 20 points along with 5 rebounds, while Hogsett scored 15 points along with 7 rebounds. Grayson Hembree was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Capital HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Kokomo HomeSchool, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.
Capital HomeSchool will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Novi HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
