Basketball Game Preview: Americas Trail Blazers vs. Hanks Knights

Americas has won 15 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Hanks has won 15 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Americas Trail Blazers will host the Hanks Knights at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Friday, Americas took their match with ease, bagging a 77-10 victory over Parkland. Given the Trail Blazers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Matadors are ranked 1058th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, everything went Hanks' way against El Dorado on Friday as Hanks made off with a 45-19 win.

Americas has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 26-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.9 points per game. As for Hanks, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Americas took their victory against Hanks when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 53-32. Will Americas repeat their success, or does Hanks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
