Volleyball Recap: City View Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for City View, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Jacksboro Tigers on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

While City View might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Jacksboro scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 23-25, 25-18.

City View's win bumped their record up to 12-20. As for Jacksboro, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-14 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. City View will face off against rival Bowie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Jacksboro is set to square off against their familiar foe Vernon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
