Basketball Recap: Monadnock Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

There's no place like home for Monadnock, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 37-29 victory over the Kearsarge Cougars on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 37-29 two weeks ago.

Monadnock's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points over those games. As for Kearsarge, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

Coincidentally, Monadnock and Kearsarge will both be playing Hillsboro-Deering the next time they take the court. Monadnock will host Hillsboro-Deering at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while Kearsarge will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
