Softball Recap: Marine City Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Marine City won the last time they faced Lake Shore and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mariners had just enough and edged out the Shorians 5-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mariners.

Marine City's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Lake Shore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.

Coincidentally, Marine City and Lake Shore will both be playing Port Huron Northern the next time they take the field. The Mariners will head out to face the Huskies at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Shorians will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
