McArthur has gone 8-2 against Hollywood Hills recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Mustangs will look to defend their home field against the Spartans at 6:30 p.m. McArthur has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 7.

McArthur fell victim to Canterbury and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 15-0 to the Cougars.

McArthur saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isnedit Fernandez, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hollywood Hills). Everything went their way against Blanche Ely on Wednesday as they made off with a 21-6 win. With that victory, the Spartans brought their scoring average up to 7.5 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Julio Fernandez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those hits marked the first that he got this season. Another player making a difference was Kristian Baldayo, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Hollywood Hills always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .771. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Hollywood Hills' win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for McArthur, their loss dropped their record down to 2-18.

Everything went McArthur's way against Hollywood Hills in their previous matchup back in March of 2022, as McArthur made off with a 9-1 victory. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
