Recap: Chaparral Bobcats vs. Shoemaker Wolves
The Chaparral Bobcats lost against the Shoemaker Wolves back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Chaparral took a 46-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Shoemaker. Chaparral has struggled against Shoemaker recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Chaparral still got an impressive performance from CJ Norwood, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Norwood hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Brad Miles was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 16-16. As for Shoemaker, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chaparral will take on Ellison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ellison is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games. As for Shoemaker, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Killeen at 7:00 p.m. Killeen has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 28.
