Football Preview: Tucker County Mountain Lions vs. Petersburg Vikings

After each having a week off, the Tucker County Mountain Lions and the Petersburg Vikings will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Tucker County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 20-14 to Southern. The Mountain Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Reid Kisamore put forth a good effort for the losing side as he picked up 115 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 54 yards.

Meanwhile, Petersburg fell victim to Frankfort and their airtight defense last Friday. They had to suffer through a 51-0 loss at the hands of the Falcons. That makes it the first time this season the Vikings have let down their home crowd.

Tucker County didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Petersburg in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 20-14 win.
