Soccer Game Preview: West Hall vs. Duluth

The West Hall Spartans will face off against the Duluth Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Hall has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with 16 straight defeats, while Duluth will come in with four straight victories.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for West Hall's offense. They came up short against East Forsyth on Tuesday, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, West Hall can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 426th, while East Forsyth are ranked 177th).

Meanwhile, Duluth kept a clean sheet against Centennial on Tuesday. They blew past the Knights 4-0. Considering Duluth have won five games by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ashley Ross was the driving force of Duluth's attack as she scored all four of Duluth's goals, bringing her season total up to 31 goals.

West Hall's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Duluth, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-6.
