Soccer Recap: Laguna Beach Snags Sixth Victory in Last Eight Games

Laguna Beach kept a clean sheet against Northwood on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Northwood Timberwolves. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in December of 2024.

Laguna Beach's one-goal win came courtesy of Brady Stringham, which was the first he's scored this season.

Laguna Beach has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4-3 record this season. As for Northwood, they moved to 6-4-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Laguna Beach will head out to challenge Woodbridge at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Northwood, they will head out on the road to square off against University at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. University will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Northwood surely won't give up without a fight.
