Soccer Game Preview: Midlothian Heritage vs. Corsicana

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Midlothian Heritage challenge the Corsicana at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Midlothian Heritage is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

Last Tuesday, Midlothian Heritage was able to grind out a solid win over Red Oak, taking the game 3-1.

Brent Duggins and Pato Cantu scored all three of Midlothian Heritage's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Corsicana made sure to put some goals up on the board against Kaufman on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Lions as they made off with a 4-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

Corsicana's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Midlothian Heritage, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
