Baseball Recap: Granite Bay Comes Up Short

Granite Bay lost against Archbishop Mitty back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Grizzlies fell 9-6 to the Monarchs. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Adejare Williams and Andrew Jones stepped up to the plate in a big way. Williams went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Jones went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Granite Bay's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Archbishop Mitty, they moved to 9-8 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Granite Bay wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Cardinal Newman on the 15th. As for Archbishop Mitty, they have also already played their next matchup, a 10-0 defeat against St. Mary's on the 15th.
