Softball Recap: Vasquez Triumphs

Vasquez's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Redlands East Valley Wildcats.

Daniella Escamilla was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Sadie Mendoza, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Vasquez's record now sits at 4-1. As for Redlands East Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Vasquez has already played their next game, a 7-2 loss against San Juan Hills on the 8th. As for Redlands East Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-3 defeat against Edison on the 8th.
