Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alabama School for the Deaf). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Kentucky School for the Deaf Colonels 55-9. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Silent Warriors' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 602nd in Alabama, while the Colonels are ranked 268th in Kentucky).

Alabama School for the Deaf was led to victory by Kamora Mccurdy and Aiyana Fanning. Mccurdy dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten steals, while Fanning went 8 for 14 en route to 19 points and four steals. Fanning is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 14 games she's played. Dejia Ware was another key player, putting up eight points.

Alabama School for the Deaf was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.
