Treylin Davis leads Rockmart to victory over Cedartown

The Rockmart Yellowjackets put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They ended the year with a bang, routing Cedartown 80-60. Considering Rockmart has won seven matches by more than 19 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Treylin Davis was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 16 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Anderson, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.
Rockmart's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Cedartown, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
Rockmart will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Fannin County at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th. The timing isn't great for Fannin County: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Rockmart has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. Cedartown will take on Heard County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Heard County is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
