Soccer Game Preview: Toll Gate vs. Middletown + How To Watch

The Toll Gate Titans will venture away from home to challenge the Middletown Islanders at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Toll Gate is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season.

Toll Gate is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Ponaganset just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Thursday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Toll Gate have been dealt a draw since back in September.

They hit Ponaganset with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ava Ficher, EMMA Mcintyre, and Emerson Fallow.

Meanwhile, Middletown faced Moses Brown in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Islanders had just enough and edged out the Quakers 1-0.

Toll Gate's draw gives them a new season record of 7-5-4. As for Middletown, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4-2.

Toll Gate beat Middletown 3-1 when the teams last played on Wednesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
