Basketball Recap: Buckhorn Takes a Loss

Buckhorn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Perry County Central Commodores 69-29. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-35 last Monday.

Buckhorn's record now sits at 4-17-1. As for Perry County Central, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buckhorn has already played their next contest (against Wolfe County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Perry County Central will face off against Jackson County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
