Volleyball Recap: Andrews Osborne Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Andrews Osborne Academy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the St. Martin de Porres Lions 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Phoenix also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2021.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-10, 25-18.

Dakota Royer paced Andrews Osborne Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Royer got some help from Alle Royer and her 11 assists. Alle was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Andrews Osborne Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for St. Martin de Porres, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Andrews Osborne Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe First Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. Martin de Porres will square off against rival Lawrence Upper at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
