Yreka and Corning squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Yreka had to settle for second. They fell to the Corning Cardinals 24-20. Yreka's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3. As for Corning, their record now sits at 5-6.
Yreka does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Corning, they will take on Orland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Orland will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Corning surely won't give up without a fight.
