Softball Recap: Central Mountain Has No Trouble Against Bloomsburg

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central Mountain). Everything went their way against the Bloomsburg Panthers on Monday as they made off with a 15-4 victory. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Wildcats with their most commanding win of the season.

The win (which was Central Mountain's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Bloomsburg, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Central Mountain will take on Shikellamy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bloomsburg will be paying especially close attention to the Wildcats' matchup: after the Wildcats face off against Williamsport, they'll take on Bloomsburg again at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
