Softball Recap: Lafayette County Huskers vs. St. Michael the Archangel Guardians
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holden, Lafayette County was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the St. Michael the Archangel Guardians as the Lafayette County Huskers made off with an 8-2 win. For the Huskers, this counts as revenge for the 10-2 defeat the Guardians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2023.
Myla Petersen was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits (and only one walk).
