Baseball Recap: Eastern Randolph Wildcats vs. Christ the King Crusaders
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Eastern Randolph walked away with it. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Christ the King Crusaders on Friday. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 8-1 victory the Crusaders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.
The team relied heavily on Lucas Smith, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Avery Wright, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
