Volleyball Recap: Chapel Hill Comes Up Short at Home Against Tyler HEAT

Chapel Hill unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Tyler HEAT on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Chapel Hill was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Tyler HEAT work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-13, 25-9.

Tyler HEAT can attribute much of their success to Gracie Tucker, who had 18 assists and three aces.

The win (which was Tyler HEAT's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chapel Hill is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Tyler on Thursday. As for Tyler HEAT, they will take on East Texas Homeschool Sports at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
