Football Recap: Windsor Beats Enfield for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Windsor extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Anthony Robinson. The Warriors claimed a resounding 52-7 win over the Enfield Eagles thanks in part to Robinson, who threw for 329 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76% of his passes, and also rushed for 35 yards and one TD. Robinson is crushing it when it comes to passing yards: he's passed for at least 303 every time he's taken the field this season.

Missoni Brown also helped out as he racked up 106 receiving yards. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making two total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.

Windsor's record now sits at 5-0. As for Enfield, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After each having a week off, Windsor and Conard will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on the 23rd. The Warriors will be up against the Red Wolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 44.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Enfield, they will look to defend their home field on the 23rd against East Hartford at 6:00 p.m. The Eagles will be up against the Hornets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.75 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
