Basketball Preview: Comstock Colts vs. White Pigeon Chiefs
The Comstock Colts will be playing at home against the White Pigeon Chiefs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Comstock has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 9.
While Comstock couldn't quite beat the Tigers on Tuesday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 30-point defeat they were dealt on Monday. Comstock fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 47-45.
Even though White Pigeon has not done well against the Rangers recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. White Pigeon managed a 52-46 win over the Rangers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for White Pigeon.
Comstock has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for White Pigeon, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.
