Basketball Recap: Oakwood Takes a Loss

Oakwood and Bishop McNamara squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Oakwood had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish, falling 75-17. Having soared to a lofty 55 points in the game before, the Comets couldn't push the score so high this time.

Oakwood has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-22 record this season. As for Bishop McNamara, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 24-7.

As of now, neither Oakwood nor Bishop McNamara have any future games scheduled.
