Volleyball Recap: St. James Comes Up Short

St. James was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Washington Bluejays. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Bluejays from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Washington can attribute much of their success to Adriana Grassi, who had nine digs and four aces.

St. James' defeat dropped their record down to 3-13-1. As for Washington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

St. James didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against St. Francis Borgia on the 29th. As for Washington, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Owensville on the 29th.
