Football Game Preview: Lynbrook Owls vs. North Shore Vikings

The Lynbrook Owls will square off against the North Shore Vikings on Saturday. Lynbrook will be strutting in after a win while North Shore will be coming in after a defeat.

If North Shore heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Lynbrook took over last week. The Owls walked away with a 14-7 victory over Cold Spring Harbor on Saturday. Those 14 points were actually the fewest the Owls have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Meanwhile, while it was North Shore who put the first points on the board on Saturday, it was West Hempstead who put up more. The Vikings fell 29-19 to the Rams. While the Vikings didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rams 7-0 in the first quarter.

Lynbrook's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for North Shore, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
