Baseball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against North Kansas City on Monday, Central came back down to earth. The Indians fell just short of the Oak Park Northmen by a score of 8-6 on Thursday. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Northmen recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Elias Medina made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Central's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 2-1 (and 9-11 when he doesn't).

Central now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Oak Park, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-16.
