Football Game Preview: South Newton Rebels vs. Frontier Falcons

The South Newton Rebels will challenge the Frontier Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. South Newton has given up an average of 28.1 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, South Newton came up short against Faith Christian and fell 36-28.

Meanwhile, Frontier strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past West Central 32-12. Those 32 points were actually the fewest the Falcons have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

South Newton better keep an eye on Ayden Justice. He was instrumental in Frontier's win, rushing for 74 yards and one TD on only ten carries, while also throwing for 96 yards and three touchdowns. Beau Dazey was Justice's top target, picking up 36 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

South Newton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Frontier, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.

South Newton took a serious blow against Frontier when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 48-7. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Rebels were down 27-0.
