Softball Recap: Ponchatoula's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Ponchatoula had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the French Settlement Lions a 1-0 shutout on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Green Wave have posted since April 26, 2024.

The result came thanks to Abby Dagro's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
