Basketball Recap: Villa Duchesne Comes Up Short

Villa Duchesne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 75-15 loss at the hands of the Ursuline Academy Bears. The match marked the Saints' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Villa Duchesne's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Ursuline Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Villa Duchesne will host Veritas Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ursuline Academy, they will be playing at home against Cor Jesu Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
