Softball Recap: Stone Ridge Christian Comes Up Short

Stone Ridge Christian blew Mariposa County out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Mariposa County got their revenge. The Knights fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Knights have suffered since April 23, 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Stone Ridge Christian and nudges their season record down to 8-5. As for Mariposa County, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-7.

While Stone Ridge Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on the 28th.
