Football Recap: Uxbridge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Uxbridge had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped down to 7-4 to make it four. They were dealt a 48-13 defeat at the hands of the Northbridge Rams. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Spartans have suffered against the Rams since April 19, 2021.

Despite the loss, Uxbridge still got an impressive performance from Camden Lachapelle, who rushed for 162 yards and two TDs. Lachapelle's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 23rd straight game with at least 122 rushing yards dating back to last season. Uxbridge also got help from Thatcher Sweeney, who showed off his sure hands for 89 receiving yards.

As for Northbridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.3 points on average over those games.

Leading Northbridge to victory were Morodney Daigle and Joel Lachapelle. Daigle rushed for 197 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 12 carries, while Lachapelle rushed for 87 yards and two scores.

As of now, neither Uxbridge nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
