Basketball Recap: Waverly Vikings vs. Pius X Thunderbolts
After soaring to 63 points the game before, Waverly was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 66-26 loss at the hands of the Pius X Thunderbolts. The game marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
Waverly lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ashton Heffelfinger, who posted eight points. Isaac Clarke was another key player, putting up seven points.
