Volleyball Recap: Cady Knight's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lewis-Palmer over Mountain Vista + How To Watch

Lewis-Palmer lost against Mountain Vista back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rangers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 14-25, 25-16.

Lewis-Palmer's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cady Knight, who had 20 digs.

Mountain Vista found their leader in sophomore Kennedy Schmidt, who had six digs and two aces. Schmidt is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 19 games she's played dating back to last season. Brie Bowyer was another key player, getting 21 assists and three digs.

Lewis-Palmer's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mountain Vista, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Lewis-Palmer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Thompson Valley on the 28th. As for Mountain Vista, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Cherry Creek on the 27th.
